Soccer Ball from Rotary

Recently, four soccer balls and a pump were handed over to the Swellendam Spurs Football Club. The Club has been up and running since 2018 with the aim of providing young people with activity during after school hours. The club currently has 65 active members with an under 12, 14, 15 and 17 group, as well as an under 17 girls team, all of which play in the Overberg League. The Municipal Sports grounds in Oak Street Railton is their practice ground where they meet Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Isaac kiewiets thanked Rotary for the donation as the balls are much needed.
