Friendship Exchange visit from Mumbai Rotarians

Members of various Rotary Clubs from Mumbai India, and a member of the Luderitz Rotary Club in Namibia, were hosted on the 24th and 25th April by Swellendam Rotary Club. Two of our Swellendam Rotarians were part of a group of Rotarians who visited Mumbai on a Rotary Friendship Exchange visit back in 2020.

Visitors were taken on a tour of the Drostdy Museum and later lunched at La Belle Alliance restaurant after which they returned to the homes of their hosts to freshen up. They were all later entertained at a braai at the Poolroom of the Hideaway Guest House in town. Flags were exchanged and the quests were later entertained with charming traditional Indian dance and an exhibition of the traditional South African "Langarm" dance by President Bernard and his wife Marinda . It was altogether a wonderful evening of laughter and fellowship. Guests departed after breakfast on the 25th to continue their tour of the Garden Route.
