Rotary Wheelchair Project
Friday 13th is usually considered a bad luck day for travelling but a number of patients who have been on a waiting list for wheelchairs were overjoyed to receive their own "wheels" by way of an ongoing Wheelchair Project run by Rotary International. These recipients were identified by Mrs Lynette Temmers, an occupational therapist from the Western Cape Department of Health. Mrs Temmers expressed heartfelt appreciation for the work done in the Rotary Community.
